Internationally acclaimed critic Robert Parker, one of the most influential palates in the world, has reviewed Chakana wines in the last issue of Wine Advocate (#190, Auguts 2010). Chakan achieved outstanding scores that made the critic underline in every review that Chakana “fashions reds and whites that sell for a song”, as a confirmation of their outstanding value.
Chakana Malbec Reserve 2009 and Chakana Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2009 scored 90 points and Chakana Bonarda Reserve 2009 scored 87 points.
Chakana whites have also been awarded. The Sauvignon Blanc and the Chardonnay 2010 both scored 87 points, and unusual score for an entry level wine.
Also Viña Colomé with itsTorrontès 2009 was also previously awarded 89 points .
